Have you ever heard anyone say “meditation has changed my life!”?
For years I heard it from friends, I read it in books and newspapers. As a Social Worker, I saw it used as a tool to support people with stress, anxiety and depression.
So, one day I decided to find out what all the fuss was about and try it for myself, and yep, you guessed it, (oh gosh, I really can’t believe I’m saying this) but “meditation has changed my life”. People say it because it’s true.
Since meditating I have become so much more aware of who I am and what I need in each moment. I can respond to stress in a calmer manner. Many of my relationships have deepened because I can share from a deeper place. I am more likely to step into fear. I’m happier because I’m less likely to be dwelling on the past or worrying about the future, so I'm living more in the present moment. I have more energy and more time.
The more I meditate, the more me I become.
So, having a strong desire to empower and support people and their wellbeing, I wanted to learn more and then I felt I had to share this with people.
I trained to become a certified meditation teacher through the 1 Giant Mind Teacher Academy and now, here I am, bursting with excitement to share this incredible gift with you all, so that you too can say “meditation changed my life”.
